Mr Ressegiue uses local fb group pages to harass innocent people with racist comments and openly discriminates them because of their ethnicity . I never met him or spoken to him but I happen to be one of his fb targets and have screenshots as proof. He goes by “Dan Ress” or “Danthe InsuranceMan”. It’s interesting that he promotes his business as tolerant to all. I guess it’s ok to take the money and then turn around and spill discriminatory frustration on the web. Great representation to the business!

I’ve had multiple insurance policies with different carriers before up until recently. Since Liberty Mutual is running all those commercials stating that you could save x-amount of dollars on your home and auto I decided to contact them back in Sept 2022  just see if they would live-up-to all of the commercial hype and get a quote on Home & Auto insurance to see if I could get a better rate than what I already had with another company.  So we go thru the process--blah-blah-blah collecting all of my info and such; and they came back with this CRAZY number that was waaay more that what I am currently paying;
So I decided that I DID NOT want to switch companies because they were so much higher.  So here's the Good Part---They had the NERVE to send me a letter (2 months later) stating that based on their review they were unable to to provide me with service because I did not meet their requirements ---That's awfully funny when I TURNED THEM DOWN because their prices were too high!  So Liberty Mutual--You Tried It--But I have waaaay better coverage and options with my current provider FARMERS! at a MUCH LOWER RATE! So whatever cpu glitch you have get it together because you are not the company for me or my family!  #FarmersInsurance #youtriedit

My mom passed away.  I called to cancel her homeowner's policy after her home was sold.  Waited on hold multiple times and finally after about 40 minutes, I was told that they could NOT CANCEL my deceased mother's old homeowner's policy for a home that was owned by a NEW Homeowner.  I was told I needed to email them multiple documents, including a death certificate.  I waited three weeks, never received a refund.  Contacted them and they claim that they credited a canceled credit card that my mom used to have that I do not have access to.

Why in the world would a company think a DECEASED person's credit card would be a great place to send a refund?

If you are dealing with a deceased person, would it not make sense to confirm with grieving person's family where you are sending a credit?  This might make it easier on them?

I had to provide multiple forms of documentation to prove that she was deceased.

Liberty Mutual pretty much sent the money to the abyss!

It would have taken less than TEN SECONDS of time to email me and ask where was the best place to send the refund.  Liberty Mutual had the email address as this is where I provided PROOF MY MOTHER WAS DEAD!

Logistics dealing with the loss of loved one are multifaceted. Beyond the grief associated with it, there are endless loose ends and paperwork to take care of.

The fact that I could not simply close out her homeowner's policy on the phone after being connected to multiple reps and waiting on hold several times.  Then to only be told that they can't close a policy without death certificates and other documents.

Then I receive this message.  Your company is heartless and this action illustrates no care whatsoever and gross incompetence.

I requested a similar response like this be sent to the complaint department.

I assume my complaint will END UP IN THE ABYSS, much like my mom's refund.

I am absolutely disgusted with Liberty Mutual.  I switched a little over two years ago, and I deeply regret this choice.  My original claims representative took a month to get back to me about an issue I had, and when she did finally get back to me she was nasty and rude.  I was told one thing by customer service about the same issue, but a month later they will not abide by what I was told.  I have paid for a service for two years that they will not provide now that it is needed.  I will be taking my business to another company that actually has customer service.

I have been dealing with a bus hitting my vehicle while I was parked in a legal spot for the last 6 weeks I cannot get in touch with my agent assigned to my case her name is Nicole she sucks I wish I could send screenshots of her non-responsiveness

Representative Adam Cholminsky gets five stars, along with the rest of the Liberty Mutual Insurance team. Highly recommend going through him to get you the best rates.

I have homeowner's insurance, car insurance, renter insurance and 4 life policies with LibMutual since the early 90s.  The customer service has tanked the past few years. Very disappointing.  Their quality of agents leave alot to be desired - the claims reps do not even call you back! Weeks go by!!! Neither does their supervisors! But, boy they have no problems deducting close to 1,000/month from my account for my policies though...  time to start shopping around.

Lori Doerrler is most exceptional. She knows everything there is to know about insurance. She answers all of your questions and makes you feel comfortable and explains all coverages. Please refer all of your friends directly to her as she works on commission.

Dan Ressegiue is a fantastic agent! If you need insurance give him a call. You won't be disappointed.

I was getting emails from a couple of agents from different agency's who wanted our insurance business. I thought Dan Ressegiue from Liberty Mutual (LM) was the best. I was able to get in touch with him in one day and set up a meeting with my husband, Dan and I later that week.

We met outside of business hours at a local Diner. Dan came prepared to our meeting. We spent over an hour with him and he answered each of our questions. His knowledge of LM's products is impeccable. I have never had such detailed answers to my questions.

We needed to make a change quickly since both our car and home insurance were expiring. Since we were going out of town for the weekend, Dan asked that I give him a call when we returned to complete our paperwork.

When I called the office, the paperwork for both policies were ready and my call was done in about 15 painless minutes.  Liberty Mutual has electronic signatures capability. The entire process was simple.  Dan's professional relationship with us was paramount in our decision to switch to Liberty Mutual. Dan was successful in getting our business because he earned our trust.

Dan has many positive attributes; I can't list them all here. He is such a pleasant person but he's equally knowledgeable of his insurance products. He has a professional style but also understands that his clients need explanations in laymen's terms. My husband and I had a great experience and we are recommending our friends, family, and you to Dan Ressegiue at Liberty Mutual.
