I’m sorry you had a bad experience with Liberty Mutual’s claims department. Here at Liberty Mutual, we want to make sure we are connecting you with the appropriate teams to best address your concerns and needs. This is a local sales office. BEWARE….We’re not sure who we’re dealing with. We know it’s a liberty Mutual (Not the local guy) rep but the rep could be in France for all we know but they must not have local adjusters. Our vehicle was stolen two weeks ago and since then what expectations they do set are never met, never. It was suppose to have been towed within 48 hours of being assigned a “adjuster”. That never happened. Days later we’re told we can take the car wherever we want (it’s drivable) but the adjuster who’s in France has no idea of that. Car is taken to a shop the estimate is sent to Liberty Mutual that same day. After hearing nothing for days from the rep WE call  them AGAIN he tells us, mind you we know he hasn’t  communicated with the shop, we need to get him pictures. Talked to the shop they confirm they had never heard from Liberty Mutual. We take pictures and upload them to their app.. Once more  crickets till today when we call AGAIN. Our pictures weren’t what he needed, had to be the shop. He said he called the shop already. Again they had never heard from him. He couldn’t tell us who he spoke to. Aaaand everything is a 48 hour delay no matter who might cause the problem. It’s been a disastrous  process with absolutely zero customer service from Liberty Mutual, ZERO. They have contributed absolutely nothing to the process of course having no issues taking our payments every month. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Liberty Mutual took care of me very well 2 years ago when I had a house fire, and 1/2  of the house was damaged.  They have NOT done well, however, with home insurance on a new home I purchased last week.  They doubled the premium to $2500/year.  Sales rep told me this will not go down for 5 years after filing the house fire claim.  I am shopping for another company to insure my home and auto.

Everyone was very respectful and comforting to the situation at hand. They got everything done in a timely fashion it may have been even faster if it wasn't for me. So Liberty mutual is moving as fast as you can

Cannot make the change to my policy. over two hours on hold. Online does not give the option I need to remove the watercraft. Finally agreed to text messages with service fees and still no response. Extremely frustrated at their lack of customer service

This place is a bunch of crooks. I went to cancel my motorcycle policy due to where I live and have made my payment every month and they tell me even if i cancel I have to pay them another 105 to my plan even know I'm not covered anymore.

Had one incident while having them for about two years. Now they won't renew cause of that and they using my 2016 incident with a different insurance then. Which they already knew when I signed up and approved. This insurance is a joke. If you have accident or anything you will probably will get kicked off. They advertise that they don't punish you for using your car insurance. That's a lie.

It seems to be a little better than other companies. I don't know what they would be like after an accident. I do think there is some room for improvement though.

90 dollars a month and no access to services. Charged me for an extra month with no logical explanation. I'd give them 0 stars if that were an option. Never got anything they promised!

Try paying your insurance in advance and you will have an extra amount due on the due date.

Liberty Mutual is always providing outstanding customer service.  I've gone through the claim process ... amazing (who says that when working on the service end?) ... contacting my rep (Scott Hinrich's ... I attached his picture) ... easy (he actually called me back when he saw I called and didn't even leave a message, talking to their staff who are so courteous and friendly (big call out to Patty and Tanya today who made me laugh when feeling blue).  So nice to work with a company who have people who care!

Better hope one of Liberty Mutual's insured does not cause an accident for you - they play hardball with victims to avoid responsibility.

Liberty Mutual's driver pulled out in front of me when I had the right of way causing an accident. On the police report, their driver claimed he could not see past another vehicle when he pulled into my lane. Their driver was ticketed for "inattentive driving". Liberty Mutual said I should have done all I could to avoid the accident, and because I hit into the middle of the car that obviously their driver had control of the intersection. I guess slamming on your brakes and skidding sideways while your life flashes before your eyes is not good enough for them. You still are 20% responsible.

Called for a quote on Monday morning.  Never heard back from anyone as of Wednesday afternoon.  TERRIBLE customer service.

If it's integrity, honesty, courtesy and general decency you're looking for, you're definitely in the WRONG place.

This is NOT Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance - This is a Liberty Mutual Personal Sales Office. I work in the office and am trying to get this updated but getting things updated on GOOGLE takes time. PLEASE DO NOT SEND LIBERTY MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE MAIL TO THIS LOCATION.

They did a great job handling my claim.  Anytime I have called to ask an insurance question they have provided great insight.  I would highly recommend the agents in this office.

Shockingly bad! We experienced major damage to our home & filed a 4p claim. We were told emergency services would contact us within the hour. That did not happen.we contacted them again at 8:08, 8:53, 9:55, and 10:58pm. Each and every time we were told the same thing. NO ONE CAME. Finally at 11pm, the call center told us that the Emergency Manager could not find any of their contractors to help us, but we were free to find our own help to get thru the night. "Free to find our own help????" Isn't that what Liberty Insurance is supposed to do? This company ranks an F- for essentially abandoning an insured client.

Whatever you do PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Worse company to ever work with, high prices and continues to charge for a policy that no longer is in effect due to the property being gone.  Unaccommodating and understanding. STAY AWAY I would pay more for a company the RESPECTS their clients.  There is a loop hole in their system to get you to continue to pay for services that are non applicable in your situation.  STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Was in an accident that was probably caused by one of their insured. First they authorized repairs and medical coverage but now are denying fault. Very frustrating

This  company is cheating.  I had home insurance with this company around 7 years ago  yearly 600 $. But they  start  every year 200   $. Reach this year $1208. I don’t have any claim since today without any  reason they making money. I called  today but they discussed my phone 4 times not giving right answers about  premium increase I  advise all to watch this company   Above your policy. Keep away from this company

So far this is the worst insurance company i have ever worked with. I had short and long term disability insurance through Ryder truck here in Madison WI. When I got into an auto accident that wasn't my fault, had a major concussion, four broken ribs anda displaced knee they decided to pay a total of $154.00. This was for being in the hospital three days and out of work for almost 8 weeks. This place is criminal in how they treat there insured. One star is far too much to give them.

I hope never to have to need them for anything huge, but my experiences with smaller things so far have been good.  I had some paperwork issue with my bank saying my car wasn't insured when it was,  and LM reps were able to generate what I needed to fix a $3,600 problem. Claims have been handled promptly. We have a very good price and good coverage. Staff has always been very courteous and informative.
